General information about TUI Cruises flight packages:
When booking a flight package for cruises at the PRO and PLUS rates, a Rail&Fly ticket in 2nd class for train travel to/from the airport within Germany (including Basel) is available at no extra charge. For Business Class guests, a 1st class ticket is included. Rail&Fly tickets are not available for cruises with a German port of departure and arrival.
Upgrades:
- PRO and PLUS fares: Rail&Fly ticket in 1st class 49 € per person/route
- PLUS fare: Rail&Fly ticket 2nd class 59 € per person/journey or Rail&Fly ticket 1st class for 99 € per person/journey

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). About Mein Schiff 4
Mein Schiff 4 has been sailing since summer 2015 and is the second completely new ship built for TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff. On a length of 295 metres the ship offers space for up to 2506 passengers. To grant the well-known comfort the ship was renovated in the dry dock in Marseille in February 2020. The restaurants La Spezia and Hanami (surcharge) were renovated as well as the Diamant Bar (not included). The area around the reception and the shore excursion desk was modernized too. The teens enjoy their time in a re-designed Teens Lounge. The Juice Bar (not included) is new aboard the ship. Not to forget the wellness and relaxation aspects the indoor pool got a new design and the space for the Relax-Inseln increased. Warm colours and wooden elements characterize the new designs.

Mein Schiff 4 Staterooms
All staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished. The interior, oceanview and balcony staterooms offer 17 sqm of space. The normal balconies measure 5-7 sqm. An alternative are the family balcony staterooms with 25 sqm of living space and 15 sqm balcony or the premium veranda staterooms with 30 sqm verandas. The Junior Suites offer 26-54 sqm of living space and 8-47 sqm balconies. All staterooms have their own Nespresso machine.
Mein Schiff 4 Atmosphere on board
The main onboard language is German. The atmosphere is relaxed - similar to an upscale club hotel. Especially middle-aged guests feel very comfortable on board. During holidays many families are guests aboard. They appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, the possibility to do sports and the large variety of fine dining options. The Diamond Bar at the rear offers a magnificent sea-view with very classy evening entertainment. You should also visit the Show Lounge where changing events with acrobatics, musicals, magic and comedy are hosted. Even cooking shows, a mystery dinner and pool deck parties are offered on board! And if you want to party you should dance in the AbtanzBar until the early morning!
Mein Schiff 4 offers a large fitness area and aerobic classes. The extensive wellness area features a large sea-view sauna and a steam-room. For an additional fee you can choose from the vast range of massages and feel-good-treatments or arrange a sports session with a personal trainer. Sporting excursions are also offered on board. You may join unusual mountain bike tours, paddle boat tours or go scuba-diving and snorkeling.
If you would like to receive a special souvenir from your cruise, you can get tattooed or pierced on board in the permanently installed tattoo place from late September 2019 on.
