The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.

The crew, hand-picked by Amadeus River Cruises, takes care of your wishes professionally, courteously and cordially. While it is casual during the day, elegant clothing is recommended for dinner or special occasions.

MS Amadeus Cara staterooms

The Amadeus Cara can accommodate up to 162 passengers in 71 staterooms and 10 suites. The staterooms on the Haydn deck are approx. 16 sqm in size and have windows that cannot be opened, while the staterooms on the Strauss and Mozart decks, which are approx. 17.5 sqm in size, are equipped with a lowerable panoramic window front. The suites are located on the Mozart Deck and have a balcony. They are also equipped with a minibar and a walk-in wardrobe. In each of the tastefully and high-quality furnished staterooms, guests will find a separable double bed, shower/WC, a flat-screen TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, hairdryer, spacious wardrobe as well as telephone and safe.

High-quality catering with perfect service is a main focus at this shipping company. It always promises fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients for the varied and refined dishes. The same applies to the drinks, which include high-quality wines. Those who are not on a shore excursion should also try the specialities of Café Vienna in the afternoon.

Entertainment, sports and wellness

During the day, guests get to know new cities on excursions or relax on the sun deck. The traditional game shuffleboard as well as chess are offered on the outside deck while travelling with the Amadeus Cara. At the bow of the ship is the open-air lounge "River Terrace", which offers a wonderful view of the passing landscape even in wind and weather thanks to its special glazing concept.
