Arrival & Departure Options
Book right away: Arrival and departure by flight via the cruise line. We are happy to check prices and availability for your desired flights directly with the tour operator (if desired, also including transfers and possibly hotel before/after the cruise), these are available from about 11 months before departure.
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The ship Norwegian Escape
With approximately 163,000 GT and 324 m in length, Norwegian Escape is one of the largest cruise liners that cruise the world's oceans and even surpasses its sister ships Breakaway and Getaway. Staterooms
All cabins are decorated in a very modern style and have flat screen TVs, a spacious wardrobe and a minibar. In addition, attention was paid to an energy-efficient design, so for example, the light is regulated via the key card. Also on board the Norwegian Escape you will find the popular studios for solo travelers (about 9 m²). The inside cabins are about 12 m² in size and the outside cabins have about 15 m² of space. The modern interior design offers plenty of clever ways to stow your luggage and offers a welcoming, warm ambiance with smooth lines and lovely details. The balcony cabins (about 20 m²) offer a lot of comfort and a wonderful view. With extra space and a luxurious bathroom, the mini-suites with balcony (from 23 m²) boast a lot of charm. The suites of The Haven Spa are between 30 and 121 m² in size, depending on the category, and have their own whirlpool and many other amenities.
Atmosphere on Board
The atmosphere on board it is easy and relaxed. Guests from numerous countries travel with the ships of Norwegian Cruise Line. Everything is possible. You can pack festive clothes, as there are gala dinners for some dining options. You do not feel like dressing up? No problem - there are no strict clothing rules on board. In the main restaurants only swimwear and shorts are not desired. The Norwegian Cruise Line offers the perfect holiday for young and young at heart. At the same time there are always quiet corners, cozy bars and places on deck, so that all guests get their money’s worth.
Food and Beverages
Aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ships you can enjoy your dinner without fixed table times and have the choice between many different dining options. There is a steakhouse, a French restaurant, a fish restaurant, a Brazilian churrascaria, a teppanyaki and an italian restaurant. Other new additions include Ocean Blu by Geoffrey Zakarian, Ocean Blue on the Waterfront and The Raw Bar, the first seafood restaurant on the high seas with indoor and outdoor seating. Norwegian Escape also offers the three main restaurants Savor, Taste and The Manhattan Room included in the tour price.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
The Norwegian Escape offers various possibilities for entertainment e.g. the theater with the popular musical show Rock of Ages. The Vibe Beach Club is adults only and has its own bar and a large hot tub. A Las Vegas-style casino can be found aboard, as well as more sedate places such as an art gallery, an internet café and a shopping mile. Of course, there is also a Disco / Night Club where you can dance the night away. Also for the children and teens on board a diverse program is offered. Children aged 3 to 12 meet in the largest children's area of all NCL ships, the Splash Academy. Teenagers can spend the day among peers in the "Entourage" and even for the very small crusaders from 6 months to two years, there is a separate area where they can play under the care of their parents. For the more active guests a large variety of sporty possibilities is offered: A large, 24/7 fitness area leaves nothing to be desired: dumbbells, TRX and endurance training on the latest equipment, and courses such as spinning, aerobics and kickboxing. There will also be an exclusive fitness class designed by The Rockettes® training team. A jogging track, basketball / volleyball court and numerous aerobics classes have something for everyone. In the wellness area, a luxurious spa offer of the highest class is available. It offers a day spa, a Medi Spa, a beauty salon and the first salt cave at sea. Professionally trained massage therapists take care of your well-being and offer a variety of applications. Other highlights to relax and unwind are the large thermal suites, including steam and dry saunas, a vitality pool, hot tubs and heated and tiled lounges for the ultimate in relaxation.
