The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Silver Nova Sustainability
The Silver Nova is one of the most climate-neutral cruise ships in the world. It lies in port without emissions, as it is connected to shore power there. On the high seas, it runs on liquefied gas. This emits 97 % fewer pollutants than ships powered by oil.
To be environmentally friendly, there is no plastic tableware/plastic bottles on board. Each guest receives a water bottle that can be filled at water refill stations.
Silver Nova staterooms
The Silver Nova is the first Silversea Cruises ship to exclusively feature suites with balconies. For all guests, an individual view of the open sea is offered. In the suites of the Silver Nova you can enjoy exclusive design. Every suite of he thirteen suite categories is equipped with a panoramic window and a glas balustrade on the veranda. The suite are approx. 33 to 123 sqm and equipped with a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom. The new Otium suites can be found at the stern of the ship.
