Welcome aboard MSC Cruises! The cruise line was founded in 1970 and is the cruise division of the container shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company. MSC Cruises is the world's largest privately family-owned cruise line (Aponte family) and has many years of expertise on the seven seas. The Aponte family has also established an independent charitable organisation, the MSC Foundation, which is also present on board and supports many humanitarian and environmental projects.

MSC Cruises offers its guests a Mediterranean and modern lifestyle at a good price-performance ratio. Guests of all ages feel at home on the sometimes colourful, sometimes understated ships. The ships are also well received on the German market and the number of German guests is growing steadily. A knowledge of English is recommended, although some services are also offered in German.

With the MSC Yacht Club, the ‘ship-within-a-ship concept’, MSC Cruises offers an exclusive area on selected ships with luxurious suites, its own restaurant with five-star service and other amenities.

The staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, minibar and safe. The interior staterooms measure about 13 sqm, the oceanview staterooms about 14-16 sqm. The balcony staterooms already have 14-18 sqm and the suites between 23 and 25 sqm, depending on the category. The suites are equipped with a bathtub.

The sizes of the staterooms in the MSC Yacht Club range from approx. 20 to 50 sqm. The Royal Suite even has a balcony measuring approx. 78 sqm and a private whirlpool.

On board the MSC Magnifica, it's like landing in a well-kept holiday hotel: good food, a wide range of sports, comfortable staterooms and many entertainment options. Even at this relaxed and casual atmosphere, festive attire is recommended two nights a week in the main restaurants. Guests who like it even more casual can visit the buffet restaurant at this evenings where no dress code is expected.

The culinary offering on board MSC Magnifica includes numerous restaurants with something for everyone. Drinks are available at an extra charge or you can take advantage of a drinks package.

• L'Oasi & Sahara (buffet restaurant): A variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet await you in the oriental-style restaurant.
• L'Edera (main restaurant): Taste freshly prepared dishes in an elegant ambience.
• Quattro Venti (main restaurant): Enjoy fine dining in the à la carte restaurant.

Guests in the MSC Yacht Club have access to an exclusive restaurant offering gourmet creations and five-star service.

There is a surcharge for the following speciality restaurants:

• Oriental Plaza: Taste Chinese, Japanese and Thai specialities.
• Kaito Sushi Bar: Try Japanese specialities such as exquisite sushi or soup.
• Butcher's Cut Steakhouse: Enjoy high-quality Angus beef in an elegant setting.

Savour fine wines or classic cocktails in one of the eleven bars and lounges (not included), for example in the Ruby Bar or Topazio Bar.

On board there are many ways to spend your holiday. The heart of the MSC Magnifica is an oasis of calm, the extensive MSC Aurea Spa. The wellness area offers saunas with panoramic views, two steam baths, a salt cave, a Kneipp facility and ten treatment rooms for innovative body and facial treatments. A large open-air pool complex and an indoor pool with a movable roof invite you to swim and relax.

For those who enjoy sports, there is also a Technogym fitness centre with modern fitness equipment, yoga and spinning rooms, a jogging trail, a tennis court and a mini golf course.

Try your luck in the casino or experience an impressive show in the 4D cinema. The 1,200-seat theatre offers breathtaking Broadway-style shows.

Guests of the MSC Yacht Club can relax on the exclusive sun deck with pool, whirlpool and cosy cabanas. The MSC Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge also offers breathtaking views of the sea.

There is plenty for children of all ages to discover on board. In various family game shows, such as the LEGO Game Show or the MSC BOOM Show, children can challenge their parents or work together as a family to win prizes.

Childcare is also provided for your children: babies and toddlers between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. During the day, 12 to 14-year-olds in the Young Club and 15 to 17-year-olds in the Teens Club can enjoy clubs equipped with the latest consoles, games and VR technology. The Teens Club also offers special events such as an exclusive teens' edition of the Silent Disco.
