The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.

Sustainability Explora IV
The Explora IV is the second ship in the Explora fleet to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). This almost completely eliminates emissions such as sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides.
In addition, the entire fleet will be equipped with the latest environmental and marine technologies, including selective catalytic reduction technology, a shore power connection, underwater noise protection systems to protect marine life and a comprehensive range of energy-efficient equipment on board.

It offers you countless shopping opportunities. The stores offer unique collections that work together for people and the planet.
The “Ocean Wellness” spa area includes Ocean Wellness - The Spa, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, which was created in collaboration with Technogym and features the latest training equipment. There is also the unique open-air fitness area on deck 14, where guests can work out in the open air while enjoying the view of the water.
Special areas have been added to the Nautilus Club to cater for children and teenagers. Here, a team of experienced hosts ensures that younger guests also experience unforgettable moments.

Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. Explora Journeys passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
Required travel documents by Explora Journeys: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German/Austrian/Swiss citizens only require identity card whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip; all children up to and including the age of 14 require a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
