Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Über Explora III
The Explora III will be the third ship in the Explora Journeys fleet to set sail in summer 2026. Compared to the previous ships, the Explora III is larger and therefore offers extensive outdoor decks and 463 spacious suites. The ship has been designed to focus on the guest experience with a luxuriously thought-out design and plenty of space.

Explora III Sustainability
The Explora III is the first ship in the Explora fleet to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). This almost completely eliminates emissions such as sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides.
In addition, the entire fleet will be equipped with the latest environmental and marine technologies, including selective catalytic reduction technology, a shore power connection, underwater noise protection systems to protect marine life and a comprehensive range of energy-efficient equipment on board.
Explora III staterooms (suites)
All of the 463 suites are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious terraces, luxurious bathrooms and a walk-in closet with seating. The Ocean Suites start at around 35 sqm, while the Ocean Penthouses are up to 69 sqm in size (including balcony). The Ocean Residences impress with their total size of up to 149 sqm as well as their 24-hour butler service and, in some cases, their own whirlpool on the balcony. In the Owner's Residence with approx. 280 sqm, you can even relax in your own infinity pool on the terrace.

Explora III restaurants, bars und lounges
There are a total of six restaurants and twelve bars & lounges on board. From steakhouse to Mediterranean cuisine to Asian specialties - there is something for every taste on board the Explora III:
- Experience exquisite culinary delights and specialities from world-famous guest chefs in the Anthology restaurant.
- Experience the finest pan-Asian dishes at Sakura.
- For example, savour hand-picked meat in the Marble & Co. Grill.
- Taste exclusive wines with international dishes at Fil Rouge.
- Sample delicacies from all over the world in a relaxed atmosphere at the Emporium Marketplace. The focus is on healthy, delicious and, above all, local and sustainable food.
In the bars and lounges, you can enjoy relaxed European coffee specialities in the Crema Café, a large selection of cocktails and long drinks in the Journeys Lounge, for example. Or how about an elegant journey to the whisky regions of the world in the Malt Whiskey Bar. We also recommend the Sky Bar On 14 in the outdoor area, where you can enjoy the sunset with a cool drink.

The “Ocean Wellness” spa area has been redesigned and now includes Ocean Wellness - The Spa, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, created in collaboration with Technogym and featuring the latest training equipment. In addition, there is the unique open-air fitness area on deck 14, where guests can work out in the open air while enjoying the view of the water.
Special areas have been added to the Nautilus Club to cater for children and teenagers. Here, a team of experienced hosts ensures that younger guests also experience unforgettable moments.

Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. Explora Journeys passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
Required travel documents by Explora Journeys: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German/Austrian/Swiss citizens only require identity card whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip; all children up to and including the age of 14 require a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
