The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Ship
The Island Princess was christened in 2003 and last renovated in 2021. At a length of 294 meters, the ship can accommodate 1974 passengers. The Island Princess offers 700 cabins with balconies, fine dining, great service and many differently designed lounges. The ship has the same variety of event rooms as the famous larger ships of the Princess fleet, but spread over two decks and with fewer passengers on board. The Island Princess and its sister ship Coral Princess are designed slim enough to pass the Panama Canal or the fjords of the Alaskan coast. The additional costs are comparable, if not lower than on German ships. The board currency is the US dollar. All services are subject to a service charge, as is standard on international ships.

Staterooms
All cabins on Island Princess are very comfortable and cosy furnished, and designed quite spacious. Many cabins have their own balcony. The inside cabins are 14-15 square meters in size, outside cabins 15-20 square meters and balcony cabins 16-25 square meters. The size of the suites varies between 28 and 122 square meters depending on the category.
Atmosphere on Board
You will enjoy all the amenities and varied possibilities of a large ship while you feel secure and personally cared for, as if you were crossing the seas on a small ship. Contributing to this are the many small bars and lounges as well as the good, unobtrusive and personal service of Princess Cruises. Comfortable casual wear is recommended during the day, matching the visited destination. In the evening, the guests also like to dress a little more chic and choose sporty chic or elegant clothes.
Food and Beverages

In addition to the main restaurant with various dining rooms, there are also four different specialty restaurants on board, where you can enjoy delicacies from all over the world at an extra cost. Our tip: If you do not want to be tied to fixed table times, please note the "Anytime Dining". Then you can eat in a separate area of the main restaurant whenever you want. For that you relinquish a "fixed table" for a fixed table time in the main restaurant.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
Whether you prefer calm relaxation or want to dance the night away in the disco: From piano music over a live band to disco - on board the Golden Princess every guest gets their money's worth. Evenings feature elaborate Broadway-style shows in the grand theater. One of the cruise line's trademarks is the open-air cinema "Movies under the stars", where you can enjoy outdoor cinema blockbusters in a unique atmosphere. In the Hot Spots life pulsates also late at night. Hot spots on board are for example the casino or the Skywalkers Nightclub. Despite its size you can orientate yourself easily onboard the Golden Princess. You will experience a classy cruise at high quality and a very attractive price.
