The German tour operator Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973. In 1988 they started cruising the oceans with the charter of the ship Maxim Gorki. Starting as a pure ocean shipping company, Phoenix Reisen expanded its range in 1993 to include the popular river cruises. The four well-known ocean liners are now joined by more than 30 river ships as well as a few smaller ships for exceptional destinations. The shipping company is still in family hands and attaches great importance to a friendly and pleasant atmosphere aboard their ships.

The staterooms on the Amina are all outside staterooms, some with a French balcony. All staterooms are comfortable and elegantly furnished. The staterooms with French balconies are located on the Orion and Saturn decks, while the Neptune deck has small, non-opening windows. All staterooms are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV (flat screen), radio, coffee maker, minibar, safe and telephone.

The ambience on board is very warm and elegant and with a sporty elegant atmosphere. Clothes for casual wear is absolutely welcome, for the captains dinner the guests like to dress more elegant (no evening dress).

MS Amina offers a rich breakfast buffet as well as a multi-course lunch and dinner. On board, there is a long, communal table time and free choice of seating, giving you more flexibility to decide when you want to eat.

In addition, the Panorama-Lounge (not included) invites you to round off your evening with a view of the passing landscape and your favorite drink.

Read a book in the reading area with bookshelf, visit the sauna or enjoy the sun on the sundeck. Here also is a small pool with deckchairs, seating groups and shadowy places. At the bow there is also a panoramic terrace. Who likes it more active, can play shuffleboard, board or card games and dance to live music on the dancing evening.
