Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket to Southampton (outbond only)

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.

You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Ship

Princess Cruises' Sky Princess is the fourth Royal-class vessel and therewith the sister ship of the Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess. Since October 2019, the Sky Princess is exploring wonderful routes in the Mediterranean, combining all the benefits of its sister ships. Some of the highlights of the ship are the piazza-style central atrium, the relaxing adult-only Sanctuary, various children and youth programs and a wide selection of restaurants. The ship can accommodate up to 3660 passengers. The additional costs are comparable, if not lower than on German ships. The board currency is US dollar. All services are subject to a service charge as is standard on international ships.

The cabins aboard the Sky Princess are modern, cozy and comfortable as it is typical for Princess Cruises, with enough storage space for your luggage. As with the other ships in the fleet, many of the cabins aboard the Sky Princess also have their own private balcony. The size of the cabins varies by category.

Atmosphere on Board

You will enjoy all the amenities and varied possibilities of a large ship while you feel secure and personally cared for as if you were crossing the seas on a small ship. Contributing to this are the many small bars and lounges as well as the good, unobtrusive and personal service of Princess Cruises. Comfortable casual wear is recommended during the day, matching the visited destination. In the evening, the guests also like to dress a little more chic and choose sporty chic or elegant clothes.

Food and Beverages

One of the quality features of the cruise line is its excellent cuisine, which also plays an important role on board the Sky Princess. In addition to the main restaurant with various dining rooms, there will also be various specialty restaurants on board, where you can enjoy delicacies from all over the world at an extra cost. Casual dining restaurants offer small and invigorating snacks and sweet temptations. Our tip: If you do not want to be tied to fixed table times, please note the "Anytime Dining". Then you can eat in a separate area of the main restaurant whenever you want. For that you relinquish a "fixed table" for a fixed table time in the main restaurant.

Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation

Whether you prefer calm relaxation or want to dance the night away in the disco: on board the Sky Princess every guest will get their money's worth. In the evenings, elaborate Broadway-style shows are be performed in the grand theater, while "Movies under the stars", a hallmark of the cruise line, will offer cinema blockbusters in a unique, open-air atmosphere. The Lotus Spa offers a large fitness area with stunning sea views, a pool with relaxation area and numerous courses. Massages and other treatments are also available (for a fee). Golf practice area, jogging track, table tennis and much more complete the sporting offer on board. Various other pools and hot tubs provide cooling and relaxing hours. For children and teenagers, various group activities and the latest video games are offered.

Our Summary

The Sky Princess, despite its size, a very clearly laid-out ship. Here you can experience upscale style at a very attractive price. On this ship as on all ships of the cruise line, the onboard language is English, therefore we recommend basic English skills. All in all, a well-organized cruising experience of very good quality awaits you with many different options for entertainment and relaxation.
