Additionally, the 2nd Class Rail&Fly ticket is included - for a comfortable journey between your place of residence in Germany and the German airport.
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The MSC World Europa is the first ship of the world class and has 40,000 sqm space for public areas. Additionally, a lot of technological innovations will be built, such as the NFC with which you can pay, use the board card or locate your kids. A special highlight of the MSC World Europa is the roofed inside promenade with the largest LED sky at sea, that offers you dreamy animations. In the 104 m long promenade you'll find boutiques, restaurants and quiet places that are perfect for eating or relaxing. The cruise line was founded in 1988 and is part of the MSC Group, which also includes, among others, the container shipping company MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (founded in 1970) and the luxury cruise line Explora Journeys. MSC World Europa Sustainability
The MSC World Europa is the first MSC Cruises ship to be powered by LNG and is also equipped with a solid oxide fuel cell. The ship also has a shore power connection, which means that the ship's engines can be switched off in harbours with a shore power system and direct emissions can be avoided. A recycling program minimizes waste on board and the low-noise propellers ensure that marine life is not disturbed. According to the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the MSC World Europa is one of the ships with the lowest CO2 emissions. MSC Cruises has divided its strategy to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 for its ship operations into three areas: Ship and Engine Technology (including shore power connection), Operational Efficiency and Renewable Fuels.
MSC World Europa Staterooms
The MSC World Europa has many different cabin categories: You can choose from a total of 19 stateroom types. Many of them have their own balcony. This ship will also introduce new stateroom types that will delight you. Among other things, there will be staterooms with a view of the promenade so that you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere below deck, or so-called Infinite Ocean View staterooms with a panoramic sliding window that turns into a glass balustrade when opened.

The culinary offering on board the MSC World Europa includes numerous restaurants where every guest will find something to suit them. The restaurant Les Dunes is exclusively for Aurea guests and offers exquisite dishes. Guests of the MSC Yacht Club also have access to an exclusive restaurant with gourmet creations and five-star service.

In addition to the restaurants, there are also numerous bars and lounges (not included). In the elegant Coffee Emporium, for example, you can choose from some of the best coffee beans in the world and select your favourite brewing and serving style. End the day with a delicious cocktail on the outdoor terrace of the Elixir Mixology Bar. Or try the MSC Signature beer in the British pub Masters of the Seas, which is brewed in a microbrewery on board.
MSC World Europa Entertainment, sports & relaxation
Onboard the MSC World Europa there is something to do for everyone. At the Luna Park Arena there are multiple events and theatre productions. There is a rollerblades disco and bumper cars. Films are shown, there are game shows and kids activities as well as theme partys.
In the Panorama lounge at the stern you will also find an extravagant entertainment program. Another new exciting activity is the cooperation with "Guiness World Records". At different occations you get the possibility to break Guiness records and to get your name signed into the famous book of Guiness. In the World theatre there are also various shows for up to 1,153 guests. In the daytime 7 swimming pools and 13 whirlpools await you. Do you prefer action or relaxation? On MSC World Europa you will definitely find both! On one hand the aqua park with waterslides and a kids pool and on the other hand the zen pool area for adults only on deck 18. Here are 2 pools, a sun deck and a shadowy lounge area - all with a fantastic view on the ocean. And also the Yacht Club wins with its large sun terrace on 2 decks, private pool and whirlpool.
At the main pool (La Plage) you will find fun and entertainment again. With a space of 3,474 sqm you can sunbath on different areas.
In addition to that there is also a botanic garden pool. It has an extendable rooftop, a tropical bar and a relaxing area.
MSC World Europa children
There is plenty to discover on board for children of all ages: Thrill seekers can try the impressive dry slide "The Venom Drop". In the Aurora Borealis Aquapark, pool areas and several slides await for plenty of fun. In the LEGO® play area, children have the opportunity to build great things every day.
Childcare is also provided: babies and toddlers aged between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. During the day, 12 to 14-year-olds in the Young Club and 15 to 17-year-olds in the Teens Club can enjoy clubs equipped with the latest consoles, games and VR technology, a teen disco and a dinner organised exclusively for teenagers.

Tipps & Infos
Confirmation of stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, the cruise line reserves the right to change the stateroom after the booking.
MSC Voyages Club member numbers or vouchers: Please inform us about these within your reservation. The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional charges for cruise passengers: Some ports of call levy a separate charge for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, amongst other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your on-board account on the night following the port call. This currently applies to:
- Iceland destination fee: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 11 € per day/person
- Greece destination fee: For all shore-goers; fee varies depending on port of call and season (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
- Entry/exit fee for La Romana, Dominican Republic: 10 $ per person entry fee (Tarjeta de Turista) for all passengers who are going ashore, 20 $ per person exit fee for all passengers boarding. Travelers arriving by plane pay the fees twice (1. First entry by plane: 10 $ per person, 2. First departure upon the ship’s departure: 20 $ per person, 3. Second entry by ship: 10 $ per person, 4. Second departure by plane: 20 $ per person). For passengers with flights booked through MSC Cruises, the fees for the first entry and second departure are included in the airfare.
Recommendation: Changes of the hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
