Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). About AIDAblu
AIDAblu started its first cruise in 2010, was built in the Meyer Shipyard in Germany and was modernized in 2017 in Marseille, France. During the stay in the drydock the shops got a new design, fitness equipment was exchanged and the new Eisbar by Langnese Happiness Station was opened. Maximum 2,500 passengers discover 15 decks of the ship.

AIDAblu staterooms
An adjustable air condition, a TV, a telephone, a safe, bathrobes and life jackets for an emergency belong to the basic equipment of all staterooms and suites. In the balcony staterooms there is a hammock in addition. There are 14 different categories in total. All staterooms are furnished comfortably and in cheerful colours. According to the short distance to the Body & Soul Spa the Panorama Balcony staterooms are very popular. Besides, there are eleven wheelchair accessible staterooms in the categories IB, MA and MB.
Atmosphere on board
Aboard guests of all ages feel comfortable and appreciate the informal and relaxed atmosphere. Due to the ship's size the atmosphere is very familiar and personal. There are activities with different topics offered and one will always find a calm place as well.
AIDAblu restaurants, bars & lounges
The culinary offering on board AIDAblu includes numerous restaurants with something for everyone. You can expect a culinary variety ranging from traditional to modern dishes.
The following restaurants are already included in the price:
- Bella Donna Restaurant (buffet restaurant): Here you can expect a variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet as well as delicacies from all regions of Italy.
- Market Restaurant (buffet restaurant): Discover the various "market stalls" and try specialities from all over Europe.
- East Restaurant (buffet restaurant): Savour Asian dishes, from Thailand to Japan.
- Best Burger @ Sea (drinks not included): Enjoy delicious burger creations and customise your favourite burger.
- Brauhaus (drinks not included): Here you will be served hearty dishes, e.g. spaetzle, pork knuckle or dumplings.
You pay a surcharge in the following restaurants:
- Buffalo Steak House: sample tasty grilled specialities, e.g. American beef.
- Rossini gourmet restaurant: Enjoy new creations from top chefs with fresh ingredients every day.
- Sushi Bar: Look forward to Japanese specialities such as miso soup and tuna carpaccio.
In the various lounges and bars (not included) you can use your drinks packages, enjoy drinks and make new contacts. Enjoy a relaxing cappuccino in the Café Mare, savour delicious cocktails in the AIDA Bar or have an aperitif in the Vinothek. We also recommend the ice cream bar, where you can savour delicious ice cream creations.
Entertainment, sports & relaxation
There are great programs including workshops and excursions for the children and teenagers. At the daytime art auctions, presentations and sport events take place. In the evenings shows with singers, dancers, acrobats and actors are presented in the Theatrium. In addition there are readings, live music and theme parties at the pool deck or in the Anytime Bar. You should not miss the chance to take part in the classic games like shuffleboard and bingo. Body & Soul Sport includes an outdoor sports area, fitness equipments and up to 30 sports classes per week. Many of the classes are free of cost. For a perfect day of relaxation one can visit the Wellness Oase and book a spa treatment in the Body & Soul Spa.
