The A-ROSA Sena is an e-motion ship equipped with a hybrid drive with a diesel and electric motor and battery storage. This makes it possible to temporarily travel purely electrically and thus reduce emissions. A-ROSA has had a sustainability department since 2022, which works closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). All ships in the fleet have a shore power connection and are powered by marine gas oil without heavy fuel oil during the voyage. Waste is continuously reduced, for example through the use of paper straws and careful separation of waste. In addition, many care and cleaning products on board are made with certified ingredients. To save water, towels and bed linen are only cleaned as required during the voyage.

The staterooms on board the A-ROSA Sena are generously designed and modernly furnished. The standard staterooms (category B, C & D) are approx. 21 sqm including blacony and are located on decks 2 and 3. The staterooms on deck 1 (category G, approx. 28 sqm) are family staterooms with a double bunk bed and a sofa bed. On deck 4 you will find the 26 sqm balcony suite with a daylight bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe for more comfort. In the balcony suite, you will enjoy luxurious benefits such as fresh flowers or a butler service. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom with hairdryer, they also have a safe, air conditioning, a TV and a telephone.

On the A-ROSA ships you feel like you are in a very good hotel: the furnishings are modern and elegant. Light colours, large panorama windows and a spacious salon create plenty of room for you to relax, enjoy and at the same time experience a lot during your holiday. The guests are often somewhat younger than on river cruises with other providers. Now and then, families also like to travel with A-ROSA during their holidays. Guests dress sportily and elegantly, formal attire is not required.

The A-ROSA Market buffet restaurant offers a wide variety of regional delicacies. The culinary range includes high-quality meat and fish dishes as well as vegan and vegetarian delights. Adjacent to the restaurant is the Riverside outdoor area, where you can enjoy your meal in the sunshine while taking in the passing river landscape to the full. The leafy Pavilion restaurant area makes dining a great experience. The A-ROSA Sena also offers a speciality restaurant: the Sena Grill. For a small surcharge, dinner is served here "à la carte" in an exclusive ambience. The selection is themed Steak & Seafood and includes high-quality meat dishes as well as sushi bowls or the fish catch of the day. Wine or cheese tasting can be enjoyed at The Winery.

There is a 23 sqm heated swimming pool and a shallow water pool for children with a sun awning. You can sunbathe on the sun loungers or relax under the parasols. For further relaxation, there is an extra large spa and wellness area with sauna. The SPA-ROSA has an indoor whirlpool, a Finnish sauna, heat benches for relaxation between sauna sessions and an ice grotto with ice fountain. You can also enjoy beauty treatments and soothing massages in two high-quality treatment rooms (for a fee). The fitness room with premium fitness equipment is perfect for really working out. When working out, you can use the library of "Life Fitness On Demand Workouts" with instructions from trainers. In addition, the equipment can be linked to fitness trackers to document training successes. On deck 1 there is a large family area with a Kids Club. The on-board shop invites you to stroll around and perhaps you will find a souvenir or two to take home. In the evening you can watch shows on the stage, dance on the dance floor or simply enjoy a drink in the Sena Bar or the Up & Down Bar.

A-ROSA has drawn up an extensive land program. Basically, there are four categories of excursions:

• adventure tours
• discovery tours
• bike tours
• and pleasure tours

You can book all excursions on board. There are mostly sightseeing trips, trips to castles, wineries and other sights in the area. Boat trips or walks are also on the program. The tours are operated by local agencies. A-ROSA has its own bikes and offers guided bike tours at various stations. You cannot bring your own bicycles due to lack of space.
