Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.

You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). About Ovation of the Seas

The Ovation of the Seas is the third ship of the "Quantum" class. It was built at the Meyer Shipyard in Germany. The ship offers space for up to 4,905 passengers, who can find plenty of variety, entertainment and recreation on 16 decks. Also culinary you can choose between numerous dining options.

Ovation of the Seas staterooms

TV, telephone, private bathroom with shower, dressing table and hair dryer are standard in all cabins. The cabins have two single beds, which can be pushed together to make a double bed. You have the choice between all common cabin categories, such as inside and outside cabins as well as balcony cabins. For those who want even more comfort, there are various types of suites that leave hardly a wish unfulfilled. Families can look forward to baby-friendly cabins and extra family cabins with connecting doors. All cabins come with free 24-hour cabin service.

Atmosphere on Board of Ovation of the Seas

The Ovation of the Seas is a ship for all ages, with a special focus on guests looking to enjoy the full range of entertainment on this large cruise ship. The audience is international, with mostly American guests. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service friendly and very professional, just typically American. On some evenings, festive attire is expected in the main restaurant. However, if you like it more casual, you can switch to other restaurants on evenings like this.

Ovation of the Seas restaurants

There is also plenty to discover on board in terms of cuisine. Numerous restaurants, bars, lounges, and cafés offer a huge selection of delicious dishes at any time of day. From Italian and Asian cuisine to a typical American steakhouse, there are numerous dining options on board. The Wonderland restaurant offers a feast for all the senses, serving particularly unusual dishes. From May 2026, this restaurant will be replaced by the Izumi Teppanyaki Restaurant. There is a surcharge for the specialty restaurants, and reservations are recommended. As with all other services on board, a service charge is added to the price of drinks.

Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation

As on all cruise lines, the Ovation of the Seas offers entertainment for all tastes: from quiet evening tunes to wild party nights at the club - here everyone gets their money's worth. During the day there are various attractions, such as the popular skydiving simulator or the impressive "NorthStar". This is a jewel-shaped capsule that lets you float 90 meters above the sea, giving you unparalleled views of the ocean and destinations. Bumper cars, roller skating rink or circus school are some more of the highlights that await you on board. The Vitality Spa offers pure relaxation, with state-of-the-art service, soothing pampering and beauty treatments, which you can enjoy for a fee. The large fitness area with stunning sea views invites you to sporting excellence, after which you can relax in the pool with relaxation area ("solarium") or in the sauna. In addition to a jogging track, other sports facilities are available, such as a basketball court and other ball sports.
