The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.

About MS Amadeus Queen

The Amadeus Queen was put into service in 2018 and is used on the Danube, the Rhine and the Main. The ship is 135 metres long and 11.4 metres wide and offers space for a total of 162 passengers. The Amadeus Queen is characterised by a generous interior design and spacious cabins. In addition to the exclusive yet cordial service, the ship offers an extensive range of facilities that ensure that spending time on board is always entertaining. These include the Panorama Restaurant, the Panorama Bar and Lounge, the Lido Bar on the sun deck and the Amadeus Club with Internet café. The ship also offers amenities such as the available Wi-Fi, the tea/coffee station open around the clock, the fitness room, the hairdressing salon and the spa. In addition, guests naturally enjoy a spacious sun deck with sun loungers and the on-board shop. As one of the few ships in the fleet, the Amadeus Queen has an indoor pool that invites you to a very special swimming experience.

MS Amadeus Queen staterooms

Guests have a choice of six different stateroom categories. All staterooms are equipped with a walk-in wardrobe and feature high-quality, modern furnishings. On the Haydn deck, there are approximately 16 sqm outside staterooms in which the window cannot be opened. The outside staterooms on the Strauss and Mozart decks are equipped with a lowerable panorama window and are approx. 17.5 sqm in size. On the uppermost stateroom deck, the Mozart deck, are the 12 suites, which have a walk-out balcony. The 26.4 sqm suites also have a cosy sitting area with a corner sofa that invites you to read.

MS Amadeus Queen restaurants

High-quality catering with perfect service is a main focus at this shipping company. It always promises fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients for the varied and refined dishes. Passengers experience this special experience in the restaurant on the Strauss deck. The same applies to the drinks, which include premium quality wines. A fantastic view can be enjoyed from the "River Terrace", which is connected to the panorama bar. Thanks to a special glazing concept, the "River Terrace" can be used in sunshine as well as in wind and rain.

Entertainment, sports & wellness

During the day, guests get to know new cities on excursions or relax on the sun deck. The traditional game of shuffleboard and chess are offered on the outside deck when travelling with the Amadeus Queen. Get a massage in the spa or visit the on-board hairdresser for your pampering programme. If you don't want to miss out your usual sports programme while on holiday, you can complete your training session in the fitness room with a view of the river. The indoor pool is a highlight. The roof over the pool can be opened and closed depending on the weather. The pool area is used in the evening for exciting lectures by lecturers or film screenings.

Shore excursions

Various shore excursion packages are offered on each route, and the tours are guided by wireless audio systems so that none of the interesting information is lost, even with the greatest possible freedom. Those who like it more individual can rent bicycles free of charge. E-bikes are also on offer.
