Since 2014, the Costa Crociere Foundation has been coordinating all of Costa Cruises' social and environmental initiatives. Through 32 projects, the foundation has already reached over 185,000 people in more than 130 countries. Its work ranges from educational programmes and environmental protection measures to social aid programmes implemented both in port cities and beyond. The foundation ensures that 100% of donations go directly to projects dedicated to current social and environmental challenges. With its new interactive educational project, ‘Guardians of the Sea,’ the cruise line continues to promote sustainability and environmental education. The playful and entertaining way in which children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 17 are made aware of the importance of protecting the oceans plays a key role here. Through engaging activities, participants learn about sustainable behaviour and how to protect the oceans. The staterooms are spacious and comfortable. The interior staterooms have a size of approx. 14 sqm and the oceanview and balcony staterooms of approx. 18 sqm. There are many staterooms with panoramic windows and balconies. The suites have a size of 20-41 sqm. 56 staterooms of the Samsara Class are special wellness staterooms with a direct access to the wellness area.

The atmosphere on board of Costa Deliziosa is very international with a special focus on the Italian way of life. Many passengers and crew members speak German. The dress code is casual and informal. In the main restaurant on a few days there are Gala evenings for which a more elegant clothing is suitable. The ship is very family friendly and a lot of children and teenagers are happy about the special entertainment programme.

In the various lounges and bars (not included) like the Mirabilis Grand Bar or Piano Bar, you can use your drinks packages, enjoy drinks and make new contacts.

A 4D cinema, a theatre which covers three decks, a casino, a disco, the GrandBar with a dance hall, a golf simulator, an open air putting green and a spacious pool deck - on the ship a varied range of entertainment activities is offered. In addition, there are 12 different bars e.g. the Cigar Lounge and the Coffee & Chocolate Bar. For wellness and sport lovers the Samsara Spa is the right place to be. This area covers two decks and approx. 3500 sqm. There are some sports classes and wellness treatments offered.
