Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Sustainability Costa Fascinosa
Since 2014, the Costa Crociere Foundation has been coordinating all of Costa Cruises' social and environmental initiatives. Through 32 projects, the foundation has already reached over 185,000 people in more than 130 countries. Its work ranges from educational programmes and environmental protection measures to social aid programmes implemented both in port cities and beyond. The foundation ensures that 100% of donations go directly to projects dedicated to current social and environmental challenges. With its new interactive educational project, ‘Guardians of the Sea,’ the cruise line continues to promote sustainability and environmental education. The playful and entertaining way in which children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 17 are made aware of the importance of protecting the oceans plays a key role here. Through engaging activities, participants learn about sustainable behaviour and how to protect the oceans. Costa Fascinosa staterooms
The staterooms of Costa Fascinosa are spacious and equipped comfortably. The interior staterooms have a size of 14 sqm and the oceanview and balcony staterooms of 16 sqm. The size of the suites differ between 18-36 sqm. In total there are 1508 staterooms of which 91 staterooms have a direct access to Samsara Spa. 524 staterooms have an own balcony.
Atmosphere on board
The atmosphere on board of Costa Fascinosa is very international with a special focus on the Italian way of life. Many passengers and crew members speak English. The dress code is casual and informal. On a few days in the main restaurant there are Gala evenings for which a more elegant clothing is suitable. The ship is very family friendly and a lot of children and teenagers are happy about the special entertainment programme.

In the various lounges and bars (not included) like the Grand Bar Topkapi oder the Scuderia Costa Bar, you can use your drinks packages, enjoy drinks and make new contacts.
Entertainment, sports and relaxation
Shows are presented every evening in the huge theatre, which extends over three decks. There is a 4D cinema, casino, numerous bars and various opportunities for dancing. Especially for the younger guests and those young at heart, there is a disco on board. There is, for example, a large water slide and numerous shopping opportunities. In preparation for the individual ports, lectures are held about the destinations called at. Classic cruise entertainment is not neglected either: there are bingo games, game tournaments and many other offers that change daily.
For wellness lovers and active sports enthusiasts, the Samsara Spa, the ship's wellness area, is the right place to go. The area extends over two decks on approx. 6,000 m² and offers a fitness centre as well as a thermal bath, the thalassotherapy pool, various rooms for treatments, a sauna and a Turkish steam bath, the solarium, four whirlpools and five swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof). Boredom is impossible on this ship, there is the right mix of adventure and relaxation on board for every guest.
