Enjoy a relaxed arrival/departure by coach incl. door-to-door service:
- Door pick-up and transfer to/from a collection point, return journey in modern coaches incl. lunch and free drink as well as luggage transport from/to your stateroom.
- The bus journey to/from the cruise ship takes two days.
- Arrival at the cruise ship is scheduled for the afternoon of the embarkation day.
- Departure from the cruise ship is scheduled for around 11:00 am on the day of disembarkation, arrival in Germany the next day.
- Dinner and overnight stay with breakfast in a mid-range hotel en route is included.
- Guests who have booked a single stateroom on the cruise ship will be accommodated in a single room (surcharge of 50 € per night).
- Arrivals/departures from/to Lucerne to/from Savona are day trips without overnight stay and without catering. You will receive further information with your travel documents.

The ship Artania
Under its current name MS Artania the ship cruises across the oceans for Phoenix since 2011. The MS Artania was last renovated in November 2017. The 231 m long and 44,500 GRT large ship can accommodate up to 1,200 guests. On board you will find a high level of comfort as well as the characteristics of a classic cruise tradition. All cabins are outside cabins with a panoramic window or private balcony, creating an airy and spacious ambience on board.
About Phoenix Reisen
The German tour operator Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973. In 1988 they chartered the Maxim Gorkiy and started sailing the oceans. At the beginning Phoenix Reisen was a pure high sea cruise line but expanded its range in 1993 to include the popular river cruises. Only a few ships have as many regular customers as the ships of Phoenix Reisen. Thanks to the friendly and familiar atmosphere on board also new customers and cruise newcomers feel at home . In addition to the ocean-going vessels, there are a few smaller vessels for exceptional sailing and numerous river boats. Language on board of the Phoenix ships is German.

Artania staterooms
On board the MS Artania you will only find spacious and comfortably furnished outside cabins and suites. The cabins have a bed, which is used as a couch during the day, and another lower folding bed (some cabins also have a fold-down bed). Ample storage space and extensive equipment ensure well-being on board. Even the smallest cabins are comfortably large with 15-16 sqm, while the Royal Suit measures a proud 50 sqm. Many cabins, junior suites and suites have their own balcony.

- Vier Jahreszeiten (main restaurant): Large panoramic windows give you a wonderful view while eating.
- Artania (main restaurant): Look forward to tasty meals while the large panoramic windows give you a great view.
- Lido Buffet-Restaurant (buffet restaurant): Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet style.
During good weather, you can also eat outside on the sun terrace or in the outdoor pool area.
Starting in December 2025, the culinary offering will be expanded with the addition of the specialty restaurant "Pichler's".
There are also several lounges and bars (not included) on board the Artania to round off the culinary offering. For example, end your evening with the best view in the Panorama-Pazifik-Lounge or have your favorite drink in the Casablanca Bar.
