About the MS Deutschland
The MS Deutschland is a true classic of the oceans - a floating Grand Hotel. Since summer 2016, the ship built in 1998 belongs to the fleet of Phoenix Reisen. At a length of almost 175 m and with about 22,500 GT, the ship can accommodate up to 550 passengers. On board magnificent architecture, classic, maritime design and numerous artistically valuable decorations in the ship's interior await you. Restaurants and bars offer culinary delights to suit every taste, while a colorful daytime and evening program provides variety on board.
About Phoenix Reisen
The German tour operator Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973. In 1988 they chartered the Maxim Gorkiy and started sailing the oceans. At the beginning Phoenix Reisen was a pure high sea cruise line but expanded its range in 1993 to include the popular river cruises. Only a few ships have as many regular customers as the ships of Phoenix Reisen. Thanks to the friendly and familiar atmosphere on board also new customers and cruise newcomers feel at home . In addition to the ocean-going vessels, there are a few smaller vessels for exceptional sailing and numerous river boats. Language on board of the Phoenix ships is German.

Staterooms
The cabins of MS Deutschland are very comfortably furnished and have ample storage space for your luggage. In addition to satellite TV, facilities include individually regulated air conditioning, telephone, safe, minibar and hairdryer. The cabins are between 12 and 15 m² in size, while the suites measure between 19 and 45 m². The cabins on the Commodore and Admiral Deck have a French balcony with a large sliding door. Some cabins aboard are equipped with a private balcony. A fresh fruit basket on your cabin will be refilled daily.
MS Deutschland dress code
The dress code on board the MS Deutschland is casual. For special occasions such as the captain's dinner, we recommend that you wear festive evening wear. Inside the ship, it is not permitted to wear sportswear or swimwear. For excursions, you should take comfortable clothing and cozy shoes with you on your MS Deutschland cruise.

There are a total of three different restaurants on board the MS Deutschland.
The following restaurants are already included in the price:
- Vier Jahreszeiten (main restaurant): You can make a table reservation on board for this à la carte restaurant.
- Berlin (main restaurant): Look forward to freshly prepared meals at two different table times in this à la carte restaurant.
- Lido-Buffet-Restaurant (buffet restaurant): Here you can enjoy all meals in buffet form.
In addition to the restaurants, there are also several lounges and bars (not included). For example, round off your evening with your favorite drink in the "Zum alten Fritz" bar or meet up with other travelers in the "Lili Marleen" lounge.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
Everything that body, mind and soul need for a successful holiday can be found aboard the MS Deutschland.
