Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.

You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). About Celebrity Apex

In spring 2020, Celebrity Cruises expanded its fleet with the Celebrity Apex. The second ship of the luxurious and currently newest Edge class exceeds expectations. The outward-facing design convinces with a special color selection and the visionary rooms. On board you can enjoy unique views from the world's first Magic Carpet, a tennis court-sized platform that can be moved over 13 decks. Depending on which deck the magic carpet is on, it can serve as an extension of the restaurant, the pool area or the embarkation station. During the day as well as in the evening, the Rooftop Garden is a hotspot on board. With a length of 306 meters, the ship offers space for 2,910 passengers. The ship was built at the STX shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France. Guests can expect 5-star comfort, excellent service and excellent cuisine at extremely attractive prices. As usual on American ships, the ancillary costs are higher than on German ships. The audience is international. Especially for art lovers, there is a lot on offer on board. With 4,000 works of art by numerous artists, there is a lot to marvel at and discover here.

Celebrity Apex staterooms

Almost 90 % of the staterooms have a balcony. All staterooms are spacious and very cozy and comfortable. There are also two new suite categories. On the one hand, the Iconic Suites, which are approx. 241 sqm in size, with a 270-degree view from the veranda above the ship's bridge, and on the other hand, the Edge Villas, which extend over two decks and have a private plunge pool. Another highlight for all suite guests is the exclusive access to The Retreat, which includes a restaurant, an outdoor area with a pool, a bar and a lounge.

Atmosphere on board of Celebrity Apex

Guests of all ages feel at home on this elegant ship. The age group of 45 to 65 year olds is most strongly represented. This varies depending on the area of travel. The Celebrity Apex is an international ship with mostly American, English and French passengers.

Entertainment, sports & relaxation

Whether you prefer it quiet or want to party in the disco, all tastes are catered for on board Celebrity Apex. Among the bars (Martini Bar, the Café al Bacio and the new Grand Plaza Café - to name but a few) and lounges, the Sunset Bar is a particular highlight. Here, every evening can be brought to a close with a good drink and a fabulous view. Another special feature is the many interesting lectures about the ports of call. The spa offers numerous pampering and beauty treatments for a fee. A highlight for sports lovers is the jogging track with a fascinating view of the sea. The large pool area with a length of more than 22 metres as well as several whirlpools on the resort deck invites you to swim and bathe afterwards. The new retreats on the pool deck, affectionately called cabanas, offer a wonderful sea view in a private atmosphere. You'll also find the Rooftop Garden, Jogging Track and Adult Winter Garden. The new trend sport "pickleball" is also offered on board. The ship has been equipped with the appropriate court for this. You can play individually or take part in smaller tournaments.

The Celebrity Apex is a luxurious ship with very attractive conditions. It convinces with courteous service and fascinating cuisine. The additional costs on board (tips, drinks, treatments in the Aqua Spa, etc.) are, as usual on American ships, higher than on many German ships. The audience is international.
