Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket to Sydney (outbond only)

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.

You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Ship

The Grand Princess by Princess Cruises offers a length of 290 meters for 2590 passengers. The maiden voyage, the most recently modernized ship in 2016, was already in 1998. The Grand Princess offers 700 cabins with balconies, excellent cuisine, excellent service and many very differently designed lounges. The additional costs are comparable, if not lower than on German ships. The board currency is the US dollar. All services are subject to a service charge, as is standard on international ships.

Princess Cruises offers classy cruises with an international atmosphere. The cruise line, which now has one of the largest fleets with 18 ships, startet its success story more than 50 years ago with a single ship cruising along the Mexican Riviera. Meanwhile, the ships of the cruise are sailing on all of the seven seas and cruise along varied routes at all continents. The atmosphere on board the ships is relaxed and comfortable, instead of large rooms you will find also on the larger ships rather smaller cafes and bars. However, the stylish ambience and the excellent cuisine ensure a classic cruise feeling. More and more German guests are also discovering Princess Cruises, so there is German-speaking on-board assistance on selected voyages. Nevertheless, you should have a basic knowledge of English.

Staterooms

All staterooms on the Grand Princess are very comfortably and cosy furnished and designed quite spacious. Many cabins have their own balcony. The inside cabins are 14-15 square meters in size while the outside cabins measure 15-20 square meters and the balcony cabins 16-25 sqm. The size of the suites varies between 28 and 122 sqm depending on the category.

Atmosphere on Board

You will enjoy all the amenities and varied possibilities of a large ship while you feel secure and personally cared for, as if you were crossing the seas on a small ship. Contributing to this are the many small bars and lounges as well as the good, unobtrusive and personal service of Princess Cruises. Comfortable casual wear is recommended during the day, matching the visited destination. In the evening, the guests also like to dress a little more chic and choose sporty chic or elegant clothes.

Food and Beverages

One of the cruise lines quality features is its excellent cuisine. In addition to the main restaurant with various dining rooms, there are also four different specialty restaurants on board, where you can enjoy delicacies from all over the world at an extra cost. Our tip: If you do not want to be tied to fixed table times, please note the "Anytime Dining". Then you can eat in a separate area of the main restaurant whenever you want. For that you relinquish a "fixed table" for a fixed table time in the main restaurant.

Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation

Whether you prefer calm relaxation or want to dance the night away in the disco: From piano music over a live band to disco - on board the Grand Princess every guest gets their money's worth. Evenings feature elaborate Broadway-style shows in the grand theater. One of the cruise line's trademarks is the open-air cinema "Movies under the stars", where you can enjoy outdoor cinema blockbusters in a unique atmosphere. In the Hot Spots life pulsates also late at night. Hot spots on board are for example the casino or The One5. The Lotus Spa offers a large fitness area with stunning sea views, a pool with relaxation area, numerous courses, a jogging course and a 9-hole golf course. Despite its size you can orientate yourself easily onboard the Grand Princess. You will experience a classy cruise at high quality and a very attractive price. The onboard language is English, so we recommend basic English skills. Overall, a well-organized cruising experience awaits you with numerous activities and relaxation possibilities.
