Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Silver Spirit sustainability
Silversea Cruises is committed to sustainability through targeted environmental initiatives, particularly in the Galápagos Islands, where the company plays a pioneering role in conservation. For example, it was the first company to keep all waste out of landfills. As part of its parent company, the Royal Caribbean Group, Silversea aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and is introducing eco-friendly ships with hybrid propulsion, such as the “Silver Nova” and the “Silver Ray.”
Silver Spirit staterooms
The suites on the Silver Spirit offer 29 to 223 square meters of space. All suites have at least a walk-in closet with safe, separate shower, desk, large flat-screen TV, pillow menu, bathrobes and much more.
Atmosphere on Board of Silver Spirit
English is the primary language spoken on board the Silver Spirit. The passenger base is international; so far, only a few German guests have discovered these cruises.
During the day, dress in smart-casual attire appropriate for the weather. During a week-long voyage, there are two formal evenings (a dark suit or tuxedo, or a cocktail dress, is recommended). The age of the guests varies, but most are 45 and older. There are very few children on board, and the atmosphere on the ships is generally quiet.
Silver Spirit restaurants, bars & lounges
The culinary offerings aboard the Silver Spirit include numerous restaurants with something for everyone. The variety is incredibly vast, so there’s plenty to discover.
The following restaurants are included in the price:
- S.A.L.T. Kitchen: This restaurant serves a variety of dishes inspired by the ship’s destinations.
- The Grill: a special restaurant right by the pool. During the day, you can enjoy fresh salads and classic grilled dishes, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to fantastic meat dishes. Reservations are recommended.
- Silver Note: This intimate supper club serves your meal accompanied by live performances. Don’t miss out on this fine-dining experience featuring small plates. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
- La Terrazza: Here you’ll find an extensive breakfast and lunch buffet, while in the evening it transforms into an Italian restaurant. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
- Atlantide: Here, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served à la carte at your table.
- Spaccanapoli: Do you love pizza? Then your hunger will be satisfied at this lovely restaurant.
The following restaurants require an additional charge:
- Seishin: Here you can enjoy creative Japanese dishes, ranging from Wagyu beef to fresh sushi. Reservations are recommended.
- La Dame: You will be served an exclusive tasting menu of French cuisine—haute cuisine at its finest. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
You can relax and enjoy long drinks or cocktails in the various lounges and bars during your trip. Specialty coffees and light snacks are available at the Arts Café. Here, you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea while reading a book or socializing. You can also relax in the Observation Library at the bow of the ship while enjoying a fantastic view.
Silver Spirit Entertainment, Sports & Wellness
There is plenty of entertainment on board the Silver Spirit: The S.A.L.T. Lab offers free cooking classes, while the Arts Café hosts regularly changing art exhibitions. For sports enthusiasts, there is a fitness center on board featuring state-of-the-art equipment, classes, and personalized service. You can enjoy some gaming fun at the casino or in the card room. Evening entertainment, including shows, music, and movies, takes place in the Venetian Lounge. Of course, you’ll also find boutiques on board featuring many brand-name products from around the world. The Zagara Beauty Spa offers a relaxing experience: here you can enjoy luxurious spa treatments, massages, or facials.
Silver Spirit children
Silversea does not offer childcare or special activities for children. As a result, you won’t find many children on board. Any children traveling with you must be supervised by an adult.

Silversea offers a wide variety of shore excursions. From tours that showcase the highlights of each destination to small-group excursions with VIP access to attractions and private experiences, there is something for everyone. Bookings can be made either before your cruise or—subject to availability—on board.
