Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Book flights & transfers with your booking: Arrival and departure via flight including transfers from the cruise line. The basic price can be requested upon 11 months prior to departure and is subject to availability. Additionally, the booking of pre- or post-programs can be requested at the cruise line. The Ship
The Ruby Princess by Princess Cruises was built in 2008 and can accommodate 3082 passengers. The ship was last modernized in 2015. Almost 900 of the 1,542 passenger cabins onboard have an own balcony so you can enjoy the beautiful seaview at any time. All cabins aboard the Ruby Princess are cosy and comfortable, and quite spacious. Nearly 900 cabins have their own balcony. The inside cabins are about 14-15 square meters, outside cabins 15-20 square meters and balcony cabins 16-25 square meters. The size of the suites varies between 28 and 122 square meters depending on the category.
Atmosphere on Board
You will enjoy all the amenities and varied possibilities of a large ship while you feel secure and personally cared for, as if you were crossing the seas on a small ship.
