Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Ship
The Grand Princess by Princess Cruises offers a length of 290 meters for 2590 passengers. The maiden voyage, the most recently modernized ship in 2016, was already in 1998. The Grand Princess offers 700 cabins with balconies, excellent cuisine, excellent service and many very differently designed lounges. Staterooms
All staterooms on the Grand Princess are very comfortably and cosy furnished and designed quite spacious. Many cabins have their own balcony. The inside cabins are 14-15 square meters in size while the outside cabins measure 15-20 square meters and the balcony cabins 16-25 sqm. The size of the suites varies between 28 and 122 sqm depending on the category.
Atmosphere on Board
You will enjoy all the amenities and varied possibilities of a large ship while you feel secure and personally cared for, as if you were crossing the seas on a small ship. Contributing to this are the many small bars and lounges as well as the good, unobtrusive and personal service of Princess Cruises.
