Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Ship Norwegian Encore
Thrill. Chill. Encore. - The Norwegian Encore was delivered to Norwegian Cruise Line in autumn 2019. The ship was built at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. With a size of 169,145 GT, the ship accommodates up to 4004 passengers. The new building together with the sister ship Norwegian Bliss which set sail in spring 2018, will complement the Breakaway Plus class. Like all ships in the fleet, the newest ship also features an excellent entertainment program, a variety of dining options and surprising onboard activities. Extensive renovations in 2024 included a brand new Spice H2O, the expansion of the two popular restaurants Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki, redesigned suites in The Haven by Norwegian and 24 additional balcony staterooms. In addition, the Mediterranean specialty restaurant Palomar was introduced!

Are there any activities for children on board? We can definitely answer this question with "yes". The children will be separated by age groups and there is a special area on board that offers different activities for each age group.
Our Summary
The new member of the Breakaway Plus class is in no way inferior to its sister ships and offers latest cruising experiences on the oceans. On board guests feel comfortable and enjoy a relaxed and informal holiday in an international atmosphere.
Tipps & Infos
Note on additional taxes: Due to local value-added tax and sales tax regulations, on some European and US voyages, additional costs during the cruise may be calculated based on consumption in the relevant waters/routes and charged to your onboard account.
