Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER: Save on your ticket price - The Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER is subject to a train connection after selecting the desired connection (does not apply to local trains; however, the journey must be completed by 10:00 AM on the following day). Rebooking/cancellation is not possible.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX: Benefit from more flexibility - with Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX, you select the connection you want, but are then flexible in the use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Rebooking/cancellation is possible on request.
After booking the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket, you will receive one voucher code per person and route. - Information regarding the parking lot: Provision of a fenced and guarded parking lot near the port including transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back. Payment on arrival at the parking lot on site with EC or credit card. You will receive all details as well as exact directions to your parking space approximately 14 days before your trip begins.
- Pricing and vehicle: Price per vehicle for the entire duration of the cruise including transfers. Early check-in (arrival between 8-10 AM) for 50 € surcharge, motorhome surcharge depending on size 60-100 € per vehicle (only outdoor parking); electricity connection for 35 € per vehicle (electric car/motorhome) for up to 18 days cruises can be added on request.
- Repositionings: Car transfer Kiel/Hamburg 249 € per vehicle + parking lot rent, shuttle transfer for 70 € per person; Bremerhaven 319 € per vehicle + parking lot rent, shuttle transfer for 70 € per person

About AIDAmar
The AIDAmar was built in the Meyer Shipyard in Germany and its inaugural cruise was in 2012. Like the sister ships AIDAblu, AIDAsol and AIDAstella it is very suitable for families, couples and solo travellers. The middle sized ship has a lot of space for its guests and various activities relating to sports, wellness, food and entertainment. The Theatrium with walls out of glass is a recognition characteristic of this ship class. The nick name of the Theatrium is "the ship's living room" due to the comfortable seats and bars around.
About AIDA Cruises
The AIDA fleet has been sailing the world's oceans since 1996 and has been very successful on the German cruise market with a casual and informal concept. There is no fixed table order and you are welcome to leave your formal attire at home. AIDA Cruises convinces with a variety of buffets, a good sports program and varied entertainment. The age structure on board is mixed and depends on the destination. Young couples and families in particular quickly find a connection here. AIDAmar staterooms
The comfortably furnished staterooms are cheerfully colored and offer comfort when traveling. The interior staterooms are 13.5 sqm in size, while the oceanview staterooms are between 14 and 16.5 sqm in size. The balcony staterooms offer with 17 to 23 sqm (including balcony) enough space for everything needed on board. Depending on the category, the suites on board are between 28 and 87 sqm in size (including private sundeck). Only the panorama suite does not have a balcony, but a large panoramic front.
Atmosphere on Board
On board, guests of all ages feel comfortable. Travelers appreciate the informal and friendly atmosphere aboard the AIDA ships. A varied program as well as many sports activities offer entertainment on board. Although a lot of variety is offered, there is always a quiet place where guests can retire with a good book or a delicious cocktail, the everyday life behind. A good place for a sundowner is the sail-covered Anytime Bar, which becomes a meeting place for all night owls in the evening.

In the various lounges and bars (not included) you can e.g. enjoy a relaxing cappuccino in the Café Mare, savour delicious cocktails in the AIDA Bar or have an aperitif in the Vinothek. We also recommend the distillery, where you can have a little nightcap, e.g. fruit brandy or other specialities.

On board you will find a theater with well-staged, changing shows that offer the perfect program for every taste. In the disco of the AIDAmar you can dance the night away under the spangled sky. For sports enthusiasts the large fitness area leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment, various workshops and courses are also offered. Of course you will also find a large outdoor area for jogging, ball sports and courses. The tastefully equipped spa offers massages and other treatments, attractive saunas and a relaxation area where you can recharge your batteries.
