Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The MSC Seaside is a modern, relaxed ship that has been sailing the world's oceans since December 2017, becoming the first ship in the Seaside class. The MSC Seaside is equipped with the necessary technology to use shore power and with a length of 323 meters, offers space for approximately 5,179 passengers as well as fun and variety for the whole family. MSC Seaside Staterooms
The staterooms at MSC Seaside are modern and comfortable, with a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, interactive TV, telephone, safe and Wi-Fi (for a fee). The interior and oceanview staterooms are approximately 14-17 sqm in size. The balcony staterooms measure 17 sqm and the suites about 17-62 sqm, depending on the suite category. Some suites have a bathtub. Tip: In the special Yacht Club Suites, guests will find many amenities such as a butler service, an on-site restaurant and in some cases even a private hot tub.
Atmosphere on board the MSC Seaside
The atmosphere on board the MSC Seaside is relaxed, easy-going and radiates typical Italian joie de vivre. Particularly inviting are the spacious interior and exterior surfaces, which are cleverly connected. Typical of the ships of the MSC fleet are two evenings during the week, where it is more elegant and festive clothing is recommended. If you are not afraid of heights, you should also definitely try the Zip Line - the longest zip line on board a cruise ship: here you race along a 105-metre high-speed track across the upper deck to the stern of the ship. If that's not enough, you can walk 40 metres above the sea on the glass skywalk at the stern. Also on this deck you will find the Forest Aquaventure Park with great slides.
MSC Seaside children
There is plenty to discover on board for children of all ages: Thrill seekers can try the 105-metre long zip line. In the Forest Aquaventure Park, pool areas and several slides await for plenty of fun. In the LEGO® play area, children have the opportunity to build great things.
Childcare is also provided: babies and toddlers aged between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club caters for children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. During the day, 12 to 14-year-olds in the Young Club and 15 to 17-year-olds in the Teens Club can enjoy clubs equipped with the latest consoles, games and VR technology, a teen disco and a dinner organised exclusively for teenagers.

Confirmation of stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, the cruise line reserves the right to change the stateroom after the booking.

The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account on the night after the port of call. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 11 € per day/person
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)

Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
