Airplane
Lisbon Airport (LIS), also known as Humberto Delgado Airport, is only about 10 to 16 kilometers from the cruise port. A taxi ride or a transfer via Uber takes just 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic and costs an average of 10 to 15 Euros. For a more cost-effective arrival, the Metro is a great option: take the red line to São Sebastião, change there to the blue line to Santa Apolónia, and reach the terminal from the Metro station in just 5 to 10 minutes on foot. This connection takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Alternatively, various bus lines (e.g., 206, 210, 728, 735, 759, 794) stop directly in front of the terminal building.
Train
The most relevant station for cruise guests is Santa Apolónia station, which is located directly next to the Santa Apolónia Cruise Terminal, offering a particularly short path to the ship. From there, the Lisbon Cruise Terminal (Jardim do Tabaco) is also easily reachable in 5 to 10 minutes on foot. Santa Apolónia station is an important hub connected to the blue Metro line and serves regional trains as well as connections to other parts of Portugal. From here, you can easily reach the city center on foot or by public transport.
Car & Parking
The Lisbon cruise port is directly accessible via well-developed motorways and main roads, such as Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. There are 360 parking spaces available at the new Lisbon Cruise Terminal, making arrival with your own vehicle easier. Check-in & Embarkation
