Airplane

The ideal way to arrive from the DACH region is via Marseille Provence Airport (MRS), which is located around 90 kilometers away and is served by direct flights from many cities such as Frankfurt, Munich, or Zurich. Alternatively, the regional Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN) can be reached in about 50 minutes by car; additionally, cruise lines often offer convenient shuttle transfers from both airports directly to the terminal.

Train & Boat

Toulon Main Station is an important hub for TGV trains and allows for a comfortable journey from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland with a change in Paris or Lyon. From there, you can reach the terminal in La Seyne-sur-Mer in a particularly charming way using the Bateau-Bus line 8M operated by Réseau Mistral, which connects the city center of Toulon directly with the cruise port by water in around 20 minutes.

Car

Via the A50 motorway and exit number 13, drivers can reach the city center and the harbor area of La Seyne-sur-Mer directly. Guarded parking facilities such as the Martini parking garage are available near the terminal; these often provide a free shuttle service to check-in and, thanks to special rates for cruise guests, can be used ideally for the entire duration of the trip.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port and bear in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.

The following also applies during the trip: for shore excursions, you should be back on board no later than one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and notices on board, as docking and departure times can change at short notice.
