Cannes is the glamorous jewel of the Côte d’Azur and embodies the luxurious lifestyle of Southern France like almost no other place. The world-famous film city impresses with its elegant blend of Mediterranean relaxation, exclusive boutiques, and the turquoise shimmering Mediterranean Sea. Directly at the harbor, the legendary Boulevard de la Croisette with its palm trees, the prestigious Palais des Festivals, and the historic old town district of Le Suquet, which offers a breathtaking view over the bay, are major attractions. Since large cruise ships anchor in the bay, the transfer is conveniently handled by tender boat directly to Quai Laubeuf at the Gare Maritime. This central landing point is located right at the Vieux Port, allowing guests to reach the city center, the famous red carpet, and the picturesque alleys in just a few minutes' walk.
Cannes is one of the most glamorous ports on the French Riviera, boasting a central location directly on the Boulevard de la Croisette. Since most cruise ships anchor in the bay, guests can easily reach the central pier at Quai Laubeuf in the Vieux Port harbor basin via tender boats.
Airplane
The nearest airport, Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE), is located approximately 27 kilometers away and is served by direct flights from all major airports in the DACH region. Onward travel to the port takes around 30 minutes by taxi thanks to the direct connection to the A8 motorway; additionally, the Nice Airport Express Bus (Line 81) offers a regular connection to Cannes city center.
Train
The Gare de Cannes train station is excellently connected to the TGV network and regional trains, allowing for a relaxed arrival from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. From the station, you can reach the terminal at Quai Laubeuf in about 15 minutes by walking through the picturesque old town or within a few minutes by taxi.
Auto
Guests arriving with their own vehicle should take the A8 motorway and follow the Cannes-Centre exit directly towards the harbor. Secure parking is available right at the terminal at Quai Laubeuf in the Parking Laubeuf parking garage, and the nearby Pantiero parking garage offers further convenient parking options in close proximity to the embarkation point.
Check-in & Embarkation
