Airplane
Travel from the DACH region is primarily via long-haul flights to Fa'a'ā International Airport (PPT) in Papeete, Tahiti. From there, direct flights with Air Tahiti are available to Fare Airport (HUH) on Huahine, which is the closest to Motu Mahaea. These domestic flights take approximately 40 minutes.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Fa'a'ā International Airport (PPT) in Papeete, you can easily reach the cruise terminal or your hotel by taxi or pre-booked shuttle service. The journey to Papeete city center is about 5 to 7 kilometers and takes around 10 minutes by taxi, with costs ranging between 17 and 30 euros during the day. On Huahine, Fare Airport (HUH) is only about 3 to 3.5 kilometers from the main town of Fare, which you can reach in about 5 minutes by taxi or the hotel minibus.
