Airplane
Travel from the DACH region is primarily via long-haul flight to Rarotonga International Airport (RAR) in the Cook Islands, followed by a short domestic flight to Aitutaki Airport (AIT). Aitutaki Airport (AIT) is located about 5 kilometers northeast of Arutanga and is served several times daily by Air Rarotonga from Rarotonga, with the flight taking around 50 minutes. Due to the vast distance of over 16,000 kilometers from Germany, a staggered journey with stopovers is recommended.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Aitutaki Airport (AIT), you can easily reach your accommodation or the meeting point for embarkation. Since there is no public bus system on Aitutaki, it is advisable to organize transfers in advance. Many hotels and resorts offer a pickup service from the airport, and private transfer companies are also available to ensure a smooth transition to the tender point in Arutanga.
Pre-Cruise Hotel

Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will generally receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for the journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time—depending on the cruise line and destination—is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
