The port of San Antonio is the most important gateway for cruises in Chile and serves as a central starting point for journeys around Cape Horn or along the South American Pacific coast. The modern DP World San Antonio terminal is located approximately 110 kilometers west of the capital, Santiago de Chile, and is directly accessible via well-developed highways.
Airplane
Guests from the DACH region land at Santiago de Chile Airport (SCL), which is usually served from Frankfurt, Zurich, or Vienna with a layover in Madrid, Paris, or Sao Paulo. The airport is located around 115 kilometers from the port, with the driving time via the Route 78 highway taking approximately 90 to 120 minutes, depending on traffic.
Transfer & Shuttle
The most convenient way to reach the terminal is via organized shuttle buses provided by the cruise lines or private transfer providers available directly at the airport's arrival terminal. Additionally, regular long-distance buses operated by Turbus and Pullman run from the Pajaritos bus station in Santiago directly to San Antonio, from where short taxi rides lead to the terminal.
