Alternatively, a trip by rental car or private shuttle is possible in about 3 to 4 hours. Route X-25, which connects Puerto Cisnes with the Carretera Austral (Ruta 7), is paved and provides convenient access. Additionally, Puerto Cisnes is easily accessible by ferry: Naviera Austral offers regular connections from Quellón on Chiloé Island (approx. 12.5 hours) and Puerto Chacabuco (approx. 3 hours).
