Airplane
Arrival from the DACH region is primarily by plane via Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport (PUQ) in Punta Arenas. It is located approximately 17 to 20 kilometers north of the city center and the port. There are direct flights to Punta Arenas from Santiago de Chile (SCL), which take about 3.5 hours. Given the long journey from Europe, a flight connection with sufficient layover time is recommended, ideally with an overnight stay in Santiago.
Transfer & Shuttle
From PUQ airport, you can reach the cruise terminal or your hotel in Punta Arenas comfortably and quickly. A taxi ride takes about 20 minutes and costs between 6 and 8 US dollars. In addition, shared shuttle services are available at the airport, providing a cost-effective alternative that takes you directly to your accommodation or the port.
