Airplane

Direct flight connections are rare, so connecting flights via major hubs such as Miami, Panama City, Rio de Janeiro, or São Paulo are usually necessary. Manaus Airport is located about 15 kilometers from the city center. Due to the long journey, an overnight stay in Manaus is recommended before embarkation.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Manaus Airport (MAO), you can easily reach the city center or the river port by taxi, private transfer services, or public bus. Taxis offer a fixed price of about 20 US dollars to the city center. Private transfer services will take you punctually and comfortably from the airport or your hotel directly to the embarkation points in Manaus, whether it is the main floating port or one of the smaller marinas. The main river port of Manaus is only about 1.5 kilometers from the city center.
Pre-Cruise Hotel
An overnight stay in Manaus before your Amazon cruise is highly recommended after the long-haul flight. This not only gives you sufficient time to acclimatize but also allows you to explore the fascinating "Paris of the Tropics" with its historic buildings such as the Teatro Amazonas. Many hotels in Manaus offer excellent service and allow for a relaxed start to your Amazon experience.
Check-in & Embarkation
