Car
Roses is ideally connected to the Spanish motorway network and is therefore easy to reach from the DACH region with your own vehicle. Via the AP-7 motorway, you can take exit 3 (from the direction of France) or exit 4 (from the direction of Barcelona), from where the C-260 main road leads you comfortably to Roses. Parking is available at the Roses Marina area, with 20 minutes of short-term parking being free of charge. Early planning of the parking duration is recommended.
Train
Although Roses does not have its own train station, arrival by train is comfortably possible thanks to the nearby city of Figueres. Figueres has two train stations: the station for regional trains (approx. 18 km away) and the Figueres-Vilafant high-speed station for AVE/TGV trains (approx. 20-30 km away). From Figueres, you can reach Roses in about 30 minutes by taxi or with a combined bus journey, which leads directly to the center of Roses after a short change in Figueres.
Airplane
For a quick arrival from the DACH region, the airports of Girona-Costa Brava (GRO) and Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) are available. Girona Airport (GRO) is the closest at approximately 53 km and allows for a transfer time of around 1 hour 4 minutes by taxi or private shuttle. Alternatively, the larger Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) is about 160 km away and offers a wider selection of direct flights. From Barcelona, the journey to Roses by taxi or private transfer takes around 2 hours. In addition, there are direct bus connections from Barcelona Airport to Roses, which take about 2 hours 45 minutes. For a relaxed start to your cruise, especially after long-haul flights, an overnight stay in Roses on the day before embarkation is recommended.
Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for the journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time - depending on the cruise line and destination area - is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
The following also applies during the journey: For shore excursions, you should be back on board at least one hour before departure. Always pay attention to the current announcements and the notices on board, as mooring and departure times can change at short notice.
