Most cruise ships dock at the modern Moll d'Adossat pier, from where the convenient Cruise Bus takes passengers directly to the central Christopher Columbus Monument in just a few minutes. Thanks to this excellent connection, the city's cultural treasures and Mediterranean way of life can be explored easily and directly from the ship.
The Port of Barcelona is one of the most important cruise hubs in the Mediterranean and impresses with a first-class infrastructure featuring a total of nine terminals. Large cruise ships mostly dock at the extensive Moll d'Adossat, which is easily accessible thanks to direct connections to the city center and the surrounding area.
Airplane
Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is located only 15 kilometers southwest of the port and is served directly several times a day from all major cities in the DACH region such as Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, or Vienna. From terminals T1 and T2, you can easily reach your ship directly in about 20 to 30 minutes by taxi or organized cruise line shuttle buses.
Car
Via the AP-7 motorway, travelers from Germany and Switzerland can reach Barcelona directly along the French Mediterranean coast and access the terminals via the coastal road Ronda Litoral (exit 21). For secure vehicle storage, guarded long-term parking is available directly at the World Trade Center (WTC) or through specialized Park & Cruise providers, which guarantee a comfortable transfer to the berths at Moll d'Adossat.
Pre-Cruise Hotel & Transfer
Due to the high appeal of Barcelona and to avoid time pressure, we recommend arriving the day before, including an overnight stay in a city center hotel. On the day of embarkation, the blue T3 Portbus will take you from the central stop at Plaça de les Drassanes directly to the ship; additionally, Barcelona-Sants station offers train travelers an optimal connection to the local transport network.
