Airplane
Genoa Airport (GOA) is located about 45 kilometers away and offers good connections from the DACH region, often with convenient transfers in Munich or Rome. For the onward journey to the port, a private transfer or a taxi is recommended, which will take you directly to the coast in around 50 minutes. In addition, many travelers use Milan-Malpensa (MXP) or Milan-Linate (LIN) airports, which are about two to three hours away and offer an even larger selection of direct flights.

Car
Via the A12 motorway, you can reach the region quickly and use the Rapallo exit to follow the picturesque coastal road towards Portofino. Since the town itself is largely car-free, public parking garages are available directly at the entrance to the town at Piazza Martiri della Libertà. In addition, many pre-cruise hotels in Santa Margherita Ligure offer comfortable park-and-ride options, allowing for a relaxed start to your cruise.
Check-in & Embarkation
