Nearby, the historic Venetian harbor of Chania, the winding old town, and the ancient site of Aptera invite you to make cultural discoveries. Cruise ships dock directly at the Souda Cruise Terminal, from where guests can easily reach the lively city center, located around seven kilometers away, within just 15 minutes thanks to regular shuttle buses and taxis, while at the same time enjoying the authentic Greek island flair to the fullest.

Airplane
Chania International Airport (CHQ) is located only 15 kilometers from the port and is served by direct flights from many cities in the DACH region during the peak season. The journey to the terminal takes about 20 to 25 minutes by taxi or an organized shuttle; additionally, public buses provide regular connections via the city center of Chania.
Car & Parking
You can reach the port of Souda directly from directions such as Rethymno or Heraklion via the Cretan national road VOAK (E75). On-site, there are sufficient parking options for short-term and long-term parkers at the port area as well as in the immediate vicinity, and clear signage safely guides guests to the cruise ship berths.

Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is mandatory for your embarkation.
