The UNESCO World Heritage museum city of Trogir is a true jewel on the Dalmatian Adriatic coast and captivates with its unique location on a small island. The medieval atmosphere is characterized by narrow cobblestone alleys, magnificent Renaissance buildings, and the lively waterfront promenade, while the azure waters of the Adriatic perfectly frame the historic backdrop. Absolute highlights include the impressive St. Lawrence Cathedral with its ornate portal and the mighty Kamerlengo Fortress, which sits directly by the water. Cruise ships, especially smaller boutique ships and yachts, dock directly at the Gradska Riva Trogir, allowing guests to disembark right in the heart of the old town and easily reach all sights as well as cozy cafés within a few minutes' walk.
The port of Trogir impresses with its excellent accessibility and, thanks to its immediate proximity to Split International Airport and its connection to the Croatian motorway network, is ideally situated for cruise passengers from the DACH region. Ships usually dock at the historic Riva or in the modern SCT and ACI marinas directly opposite the old town.
Airplane
Split Airport (SPU) is located only about six kilometers from the city center and is served by direct flights from numerous airports in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Thanks to the short distance, you can reach your embarkation port comfortably in about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi, private transfer shuttles, or the regional bus line 37, which runs regularly between the airport and the Trogir bus station.
Car
Travelers can quickly reach the coast via the Croatian A1 motorway using the Prgomet exit and reach the terminal after a short drive through the picturesque hinterland. Guarded long-term parking spaces for cars are available directly in the ACI Marina or the SCT Marina Trogir; additionally, private providers such as the T1 car park in the immediate vicinity of the port offer secure parking spaces for the duration of the cruise.

Since the entire old town of Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage site, we recommend arriving at least one day before embarkation at one of the charming boutique hotels within the historic city walls. This allows for a relaxed start to your holiday without time pressure and also offers the opportunity to enjoy the medieval alleys and the lively harbor atmosphere during a dinner on the promenade.
Check-in & Embarkation
Please note that your travel documents usually include a fixed time slot for check-in, which is binding for your embarkation. Plan sufficient time for your journey to the port accordingly and keep in mind that the latest embarkation time—depending on the cruise line and destination—is usually scheduled about one hour before the planned departure.
