The nearest airport is Maniitsoq Airport (JSU), which only offers domestic connections, mainly via Air Greenland from Nuuk (GOH) or Kangerlussuaq (SFJ). For travel from the DACH region, you first fly to Copenhagen (CPH) or Iceland (KEF) and from there continue with direct flights to Nuuk or Kangerlussuaq. From these larger Greenlandic airports, the connecting flight to Maniitsoq takes place. The flight time from Nuuk to Maniitsoq, for example, is about 35 minutes. Due to potential long flight times and the dependence on domestic flights, it is advisable to plan for a buffer.

From the small Maniitsoq Airport (JSU) to the city center and the port, it is only a few kilometers.
