Car

For arrival by car, the A 70 motorway (Maintalautobahn) is the best option, directly connecting Zeil am Main via the Ebelsbach/Eltmann and Knetzgau junctions. Parking for short-term and long-term stays is available at the Marktplatz and at the Tuchanger. The Tuchanger motorhome site also offers a level, paved surface and is only about a five-minute walk from the old town. From the parking areas, you can easily reach the pier on the Main on foot.

Train

Zeil am Main has its own VGN railway station, which allows for a pleasant journey by train. From the station, you can reach the ship's pier, located 80 meters east of the Mainbrücke, quickly and easily on foot or by taxi. The old town is about a 15-minute walk from the Mainlände, making the transition from train to ship a relaxed experience.

Airplane

The nearest airport is Nuremberg (NUE), from where you can reach Zeil am Main in around 1 hour 52 minutes by bus. Alternatively, Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA) is a major international hub offering a wider selection of flights for guests from the DACH region. The travel time from Frankfurt is approximately 2 hours by car or around 2 hours 50 minutes by train via Würzburg Hbf. The picturesque Old Town of Zeil am Main is directly accessible within a few minutes' walk from the ship's pier and impresses with its well-preserved half-timbered houses and the historic market square. A particularly rewarding path leads through the idyllic vineyards up to the "Zeiler Käppele," a baroque pilgrimage church that offers a wide view over the Main Valley and is perfect for a relaxed stroll. In the winding alleys of the lower town, you will also find rustic restaurants offering regional specialties and excellent wines from the region. It is best to visit the Old Town in the morning to experience the special atmosphere of the Franconian architecture in peace, and return comfortably to the ship about sixty minutes before the planned departure.

Returning to the ship

The way back to the ship docking point at the Mainlände is very comfortable and relaxed thanks to the compact city structure. You can reach your ship punctually and safely at any time via short paths through the historic old town.

On Foot

Since the pier is located directly on the edge of the city center, you can enjoy a comfortable five to ten minute stroll from the Marktplatz back to the Mainlände. The path leads through the picturesque Hauptstraße and is easy to find thanks to the church spire as a landmark and the signs pointing towards the Main.

Taxi

If you have taken excursions into the surrounding area, you will find taxis at the Zeil train station or can easily have one called for you by the restaurants and guesthouses at the Marktplatz.
