It is best to visit the Old Town in the morning to experience the special atmosphere of the Franconian architecture in peace, and return comfortably to the ship about sixty minutes before the planned departure.
The way back to the ship docking point at the Mainlände is very comfortable and relaxed thanks to the compact city structure. You can reach your ship punctually and safely at any time via short paths through the historic old town.
On Foot
Since the pier is located directly on the edge of the city center, you can enjoy a comfortable five to ten minute stroll from the Marktplatz back to the Mainlände. The path leads through the picturesque Hauptstraße and is easy to find thanks to the church spire as a landmark and the signs pointing towards the Main.
