Winningen is conveniently connected via the B416 and B49 federal highways, which provide direct access from the A61 motorway (Koblenz-Metternich or Dieblich exit) and the A48. Public parking spaces are available in the town and in the immediate vicinity of the berths for those arriving by car. It is advisable to arrive early to find a suitable parking space.
Bahn
Winningen (Mosel) train station is centrally located and well connected to the regional rail network. Travelers from larger cities usually reach Winningen with a change at Koblenz Hauptbahnhof, a major ICE hub. From Winningen station, the ship piers can be easily reached on foot in just a few minutes.
Flugzeug
The nearest major airport is Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN), approximately 40 kilometers away. This airport is served by various low-cost airlines. Alternatively, the larger Köln/Bonn Airport (CGN) is around 100 kilometers away and offers a wider selection of flight connections. From Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, there are bus connections to Koblenz, from where you can continue your journey to Winningen by train. For a more comfortable arrival, taxis or rental cars can also be used.
