Straubing, the charming ducal city on the Danube, is a jewel in Lower Bavaria and a staple of many river cruises. To travel to the ship, you can take the A3 exit Kirchroth and follow the signs towards the city and the "Am Hagen" large car park, which offers around 2000 parking spaces. Numerous other parking options, including multi-storey car parks and underground garages, can be found in the city area of Straubing.
Train
Straubing station, centrally located at Bahnhofsplatz 6, is a relevant railway junction that is directly connected to European metropolises via ICE/IC connections. From Straubing station, you can reach the ship landing stage on Uferstraße, which is only about 0.445 kilometers from the city center, comfortably and quickly by taxi.
Airplane
The nearest international airport is Munich (MUC), which is located approximately 82.5 to 115 kilometers from Straubing and allows for a travel time of around 1.5 hours by car. For a comfortable and relaxed onward journey, various taxi companies offer specialized airport transfers from Munich as well as from Nuremberg or Linz to Straubing. Given the distance, booking a transfer in advance is recommended.
