Car

The journey time from Berlin is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. A paid main parking lot is available directly at the ship lift at Hebewerkstraße 70a, located about 600 meters from the ship pier. The daily fee for cars is a flat rate of 3 Euro. Parking spaces for motorhomes are also available with a daily fee of 20 Euro for overnight stays.
Train
The nearest train station is Niederfinow, located about 2 kilometers from the ship lift. A picturesque hiking trail leads directly from Niederfinow station to the lift, which you can reach in about 20 minutes on foot. The RB60 regional train line connects Niederfinow station hourly with Eberswalde (approx. 12 minutes travel time) and Frankfurt (Oder). Travelers from Berlin can easily reach Eberswalde by regional express and then change to the Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn (NEB) to Niederfinow.
Airplane
The nearest major airport is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), located around 80 to 100 kilometers southwest of Niederfinow. From BER, you can reach Berlin Hauptbahnhof in about 23 minutes using the Airport Express (FEX) or other regional trains (RE20, RB22, RB24, RB32). From there, continue your journey by train as described above to reach Niederfinow. Alternatively, taxis and private transfer services are available at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), providing direct travel to Niederfinow. For a relaxed arrival, especially for international flights, an overnight stay in Berlin or Eberswalde on the day before embarkation may be recommended.
