Train
The nearest railway station is Great Yarmouth (GYM), which offers direct connections to Norwich. From London Liverpool Street, you can reach Great Yarmouth with a change in Norwich in an average of 2 hours 20 minutes. The port is easily accessible from Great Yarmouth station. Although the route to the beach and city center is described as an approximately 25-minute walk, the use of a taxi is recommended for a comfortable journey to the terminal.
Airplane
Norwich International Airport (NWI) is the nearest airport and is located approximately 32 to 38 kilometers from Great Yarmouth. The travel time by car or taxi is about 30 to 35 minutes. Direct flight connections from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are often possible via hubs such as Amsterdam (AMS), from where connecting flights to Norwich exist. For a relaxed embarkation and to avoid travel stress after long flights, booking a pre-cruise hotel in Great Yarmouth or the surrounding area is a recommended option.
