Arriving by car is via the scenic Route 138, which connects Havre-Saint-Pierre with Sept-Îles and further west with larger cities like Québec City. Airplane
The nearest airport is Havre Saint-Pierre Airport (YGV), located only about 5.6 kilometers north of the town. This smaller airport primarily offers regional flights, for example with Air Liaison from Port-Menier. For guests from the DACH region, traveling via larger Canadian airports such as Montreal (YUL) or Québec City (YQB) with a connecting flight to Sept-Îles (YZV) and subsequent transfer to Havre-Saint-Pierre is recommended. From YGV, you can easily reach the port in about five minutes by taxi.
Pre-Cruise Hotel & Transfers
Given the long journey from Europe, a pre-cruise hotel is highly recommended for a relaxed embarkation. Stay either in a larger Canadian city like Montréal or Québec City to continue the journey to Havre-Saint-Pierre the following day, or directly in Havre-Saint-Pierre to explore the local culture in advance.
