Airplane
Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) is the closest and busiest airport in Vietnam, conveniently located about six to nine kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City center. Numerous international airlines, including European carriers, offer direct flights or convenient connections from and to Frankfurt or Munich, enabling a relaxed journey.
Transfer & Shuttle
From Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN), you can reach your hotel in the city center in about 25 to 45 minutes using taxi services, private transfers, or ride-hailing services like Grab, depending on traffic volume. For onward travel to Phu My port, organized transfers are essential as taxis are less available there. Many cruise lines offer shuttle services; alternatively, private transfer services are a comfortable option for the approximately 90- to 120-minute drive to the port via the Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway.
