Direct flight connections are available from Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich to Colombo, among others. Given the long travel times from Europe, it is advisable to arrive in Sri Lanka at least one day before embarkation to start your cruise relaxed.

The journey time by taxi or a pre-booked transfer is approximately 1 hour 52 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes. Numerous providers offer private transfers and shuttles, enabling a direct and comfortable arrival at the port. Alternatively, ride-sharing services such as Uber or PickMe are also available.

Pre-Cruise Hotel

An overnight stay in Colombo or directly in Galle before the start of your cruise is highly recommended due to the long flight time. This allows you to get used to the local climate and make the journey to the port on embarkation day stress-free. In Galle itself, you will find a variety of charming accommodations in or near the Galle Fort, from where the tender pier is easily accessible.

Check-in & Embarkation

Please note that you will usually receive a fixed time slot for check-in with your travel documents, which is binding for your embarkation.
